How Can I Stop Receiving
Unwanted E-Mail!This pesky problem has become very annoying to many, You can purchase an anti SPAM program or if you are using Microsoft Outlook Express you can block email and automatically delete it. This is especially good for E-Mail viruses. I do recommend having anti virus protection but this works very well in addition to any anti-virus software to block the pesky email and block viruses.
Open Outlook Express
Find the pesky email or Spam
Right Click ( or is you have the mouse set up for left handed people Left Click) on the obnoxious email to select it.
Click on Message
Click on Block SenderYou can also block a sender with the following.
Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools
Click on Message Rules
Click on Blocked senders list
Click on New under Blocked Senders
Type in the address of your sender Example - hahaha@sexyfun.net -(This seems to be the address of the source of the Hybris 95 Virus). This is what Microsoft has to say about the above.
When you block a sender or domain, no e-mail or news message from that sender or domain will arrive in your Inbox or in the news messages you read. E-mail from blocked senders goes directly into your Delete folder. Newsgroup messages from blocked senders are not displayed.
- Blocking a sender applies to standard POP mail only. It does not apply to HTTP mail (Hotmail) or IMAP messages.
